Cast boosters
Booster is a unit of cast pentolite- mixture of TNT and PETN in 50/50 ratio. Detonating cap no.8 is not enough for initiation of some insensitive explosives and explosive mixtures, so a much stronger impulse intensifier-booster must be used and it is easily detonated with the cap no. 8. Its detonation pressure can completely detonate the most insensitive explosive. The diameter and length of the booster must be adapted to the diameter of the explosive charge they initiate, so in our product range we have boosters of different diameters and weights.
