Session held at TRAYAL Corporation by The Republican Economic and Social Council

Today, Trayal Corporation hosted the meeting of the Republican Economic and Social
Council, which was held in Krusevac on the occasion of the significant jubilee of the city,
but also in order for its members to point out the importance of strengthening local
economic and social councils.

– We are grateful to the ministers and other members who supported the initiative to hold
the session in Krusevac in order to increase the celebration of the city, but also to support
the strengthening of local economic and social councils, which is one of the tasks of the
Republican Economic and Social Council – said Milos Nenezic, the General Manager of
“Trayal Corporation” and President of the Union of Employers of Serbia after the session
and also added that the Economic and Social Council is celebrating its jubilee this year –
two decades of work.

He pointed out to the fact that the Economic and Social Council of Krusevac was founded
at one such session of the Republican Council, held at “Trayal” three years ago.

Darija Kisić Tepavčević, Minister of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs
mentioned that the strengthening of local economic and social councils is one of the goals
of the relevant ministry, and that holding such sessions is one of the ways to do that.

Looking back at the previous work of the Council of 20 years, Ljubisav Orbovic, the
President of the Independent Trade Union of Serbia
said that there were many periods of
crisis and turmoil, but that we managed to achieve a certain dynamics of work, good
cooperation with the relevant ministry, meetings are held on a regular basis and no one
objects to raising questions and that everything can come to an agreement.

– There is always room for better results and I expect them. As far as local economic and
social councils are concerned, they have been established in 25 cities so far, but not all of
them have achieved the effect they would be satisfied with. We expect the work of the
Economic and Social Council to become even more significant once they have been
established in other cities – he said.

On the occasion of 132 years of existence, which it recently marked, Trayal Corporation
today awarded charters to Darija Kisić Tepavčević, Minister of Labor, to Branko Ružić,
Minister of Education, to Ljubisav Orbović, President of the Independent Trade Union of
Serbia, to Nebojsa Atanacković, Honorary President of the Union of Employers of Serbia
and to Zoran Punosevac, President of the Union of Employers.

At today’s session, the Economic and Social Council adopted the initiative of the Union of
Employers to amend Article 40 of the Law on Corporate Income Tax, to hold a debate on
the Law on Archival Material and Archival Activities, and to hold a debate on free entry of
the citizens of Romania into Serbia.
